The owners are also the guides and both have years of experience as professional guides. Growing up in this area, their knowledge of the land that they have hunted for a combined 50 or better years will help put you on birds. Mike and Jay will give you the best wild pheasant hunt in South Dakota with thousands of acres to go over.

The county in which Cain Creek Lodge is located is Beadle County and as always been a leader in wild pheasant population. This year is no exception as it looks to meet or top all previous records. We primarily hunt wild pheasants.

Package Price is $1,575 plus a 5% tax

For exclusive use of the lodge during the hunting season we require payment of 10 hunters.

We provide 2 boxes of shells (one for clays and one for hunting). We have shells on hand for either 12 gauge or 20 gauge Please let us know if you are shooting something different so we can have shells on hand to accommodate you.

Not included: license which we can handle for you upon arrival or you may purchase online at www.sdgfp.info, tipping (optional), or if you would like the birds sent UPS or Fed Ex, you will be responsible for shipping cost.

The pheasant season opens the third Saturday in October and runs until January 1st. A 50% deposit is required within 10 days of booking the hunt.

We are located near the town of Wolsey, SD. Wolsey is on HWY 281 in east central South Dakota. Air transportation is provided from Sioux Falls or Huron, SD at no cost to you.
